Afghanistan’s Minister of Public Health, Noor Jalal Jalali, and his accompanying delegation have visited a specialized cardiac center and a central polyclinic in Belarus.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, the purpose of the visits was to learn from Belarusian experience in the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases, surgical services, and the use of modern medical equipment.
The ministry said the Afghan delegation also received information on the organization of specialized healthcare services, capacity building for medical specialists, and the standardization of healthcare services.
The delegation also discussed the possibility of using Belarusian experience in establishing standardized polyclinic services and structures for healthcare facilities being constructed in Afghanistan.
